Demonoid Returns
Now who's the world's largest tracker?

Demonoid is back. A visit to Demonoid.com no longer shows the site being down for maintenance. Instead, the familiar homepage of Demonoid is now back online and greets, "Hello! We are currently testing the newly written code. More downtime is hopefully not necessary, but might be a possibility. Welcome back, we missed you!"

News of Demonoid's return has traveled quick, which seems to be putting occasional strain on their web servers. Demonoid's regular homepage loads for the most part, but don't be surprised if you get this message either:

"Server too busy The action you requested could not be completed because the server is too busy. Please try again in a few minutes."

Demonoid's return is well timed considering the recent shake up in the BitTorrent community. Although Demonoid isn't a fully public tracker, many will see this as good news compared to the loss of MiniNova's index.

Demonoid has had its fair share of trouble in the last few years. It was chased out of the Netherlands, only to reestablish itself overseas. Unfortunately, Demonoid suffered a hardware and data failure in September of this year, forcing it offline until today.
